Nestled on a gentle hill, Antico Borgo Etneo offers guests a taste of authentic Italian charm amidst sprawling lemon and olive orchards. The villa maintains an old-world vibe while ensuring modern comforts are readily available. The spacious rooms and the delectable breakfasts, featuring homemade jams, are commendable highlights. While my stay was enjoyable, I did find the shower cabin quite cramped; a worthwhile note seeking comfort. Service was efficient; Francesca was incredibly helpful, especially during the crowded national holiday, quickly making dinner reservations at a local spot. Although the hotel's restaurant is only open on Saturdays, I imagine this might expand during peak season, which would add value. They offer tours of Mt. Etna, although I had pre-arranged my excursion. Equipped with soundproofed rooms and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as garden areas perfect for relaxation, the ambiance is quite peaceful. Pricing is reasonable given the unique setting and attentive service, but it's wise to weigh this against the available amenities when planning your stay. Antico Borgo Etneo is a lovely retreat for those exploring Sicily, balancing comfort with local authenticity.
